Resistance training is not just physical experience of strength-building, but also resilience and a profound understanding of life's impermanent nature.

In this lesson, we begin our journey into yoga and the many ways it can transform our lives. We will explore the eight-limbed path of raja yoga, an ancient and traditional practice that is just as potent, if not more, in today’s world.

In Sanskrit, the word chakra literally means wheel; however it also refers to the energy centers existing within the human subtle body. Each of the seven chakras is associated not only with specific body parts but also with a web of connections to organs, nerves, glands, and various body systems. Connecting with the timeless resonance of the chakra system may be a key to unlocking a sustainable and holistic life of well-being.

We can connect with our ancient ancestral survival responses to decipher indicators from our sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system.
